نفس

nafas (inf. n. of نفس 'to desire; to esteem,' etc.), s.m. Breath, respiration;—the voice or sound from the breast;—a moment, an instant (syn. dam):—nafas-ě-bāz-pasīn, The last breath:—nafas-gīr, adj. Suffocated.

Origin: Arabic
