نفرین

nafrīn, or nifrīn[imperat. or rt. of nafrīdan, contrac. of nā+āfarīdan;—nafrīn= nā, 'not'+āfrīn= Zend ā-frīna= S. आ+ूीण;—or perhaps nafrīdan, in the sense 'to detest,' etc.=A. nafr+P. aff. īdan], s.f.
