مہوا

महआ ु mahu`ā, or महआ ू mahū`ā, or महवाmahwā[Prk. महओ ु , महअं ु, or महओ ू , महअं ू; S. मधूकः, मधूकं], s.m. The tree Bassia latifolia, and its flower (a spirituous liquor is distilled from the blossom; and oil is extracted from the nuts or seeds, which is used instead of butter, and to adulterate ghī):—mahu`e-kābel, s.m. Oil extracted from the seed of the mahu`ā:—mahu`e-kīsharāb, Spirituous liquor distilled from the flower of the mahu`ā.
