مسجد

masjid (n. of place fr. سجد 'to prostrate ooneself in prayer'), s.f. A place or house of prayer, a Musllm temple, a mosque:—masjidabābīl, s.m. & f. The mosque-swallow, Hirundo daurica:—jāmě-masjid, or masjid-ě-jāmě, s.f. The congregational mosque, the principal mosque (of a town or city).
