muḥāsaba (for A. محاسبة muḥāsabat, inf. n. of حاسب ; see muḥāsib), s.m. Computation, calculation, account; adjustment or settlement of accounts:—muḥāsaba-dār, s.m. An accountant; one who has accounts to settle, or whose accounts are under scrutiny:—muḥāsaba-t̤alab, adj. & s.m. Demanding (or one demanding) a settlement of accounts:—muḥāsaba karnā(-kā, or apnā), To adjust or settle the accounts (of):—muḥāsaba lenā(-se), To take an account (from); to settle or audit accounts.
