लठ laṭh[Prk. लिट्ठ; S. यिƴः], s.m. A stick, staff, club, cudgel; a measuring rod or pole:—laṭhā-laṭṭham, s.m. (or laṭṭham-laṭṭhā), and laṭh-ā-laṭhī, s.f. Mutual cudgelling; a fight with clubs or cudgels:—laṭh-bāz, s.m. Cudgelplayer, fencer; one who uses (or fights with) a club:—laṭh-bāzī, s.f. Fencing, cudgelling; clubfighting:—laṭh-paṭeṅge, s.m. pl. Cudgels and clubs:—laṭh-ćalnā, v.n.
