لٹهیت

लठैत laṭhait[laṭh, q.v. + ait= ā`it= Prk. आइƣो=आयंतो=आवेंतो=S. आपयन् (the term. of the pres. part. with the caus. augment āpi)], adj. & s.m. Carrying (or armed with) a club; skilled in the use of a club or cudgel;—obstinate, obdurate (in this sense prob. fr. laṭ= lat);—a man bearing (or armed with) a club, a club-man:—laṭhait laṛkā, s.m. A hardened or incorrigible boy.
