luqma (for A. لقمة luqmat, n. of unity fr. لقم 'to swallow, to gobble'), s.m. A mouthful, morsel, bit, scrap, sop:—luqma denā(-ko), To give a morsel (to);—to put words into the mouth (of); to put scraps (into); to feed (a fire); to interrupt (a person while he is speaking):—luqma karnā(-ko), To make a mouthful of; to swallow, to gulp down:—luqma-parhezī, s.f.
