laqlaqa (for A. لقلقة laqlaqat, inf. n. of لقلق 'to cry tremulously,' etc.), s.m. Cackling, or chattering (a stork); the voice of a stork; a continual motion of the jaw or of the tongue (in serpents);—eloquence; pronunciation;—spirit, ambition;—weight, influence (e.g. yěh baṛe laqlaqe-kī'aurat hai).
