g̠urūr (inf. n. of غ رّ 'to deceive,' etc.), s.m. (orig.) 'A thing by which one is deceived'; pride, haughtiness, vanity, vainglory:—g̠urūr karnā, v.n. To practise haughtiness, to be proud, etc.
