सत sat[S. सƯ; Prk. सƣ], adj. Seven (=sāt, for which it is used in comp.).—satpanć= sāt-pāṅć, q.v.s.v. sāt:—sat-ḵẖaṣmī, s.f. (colloq.) A woman who has had seven husbands;—common or public property; an office under the control of several masters:—sat-saṭh, adj. Sixty-seven (=sar-saṭhor saṛ-saṭh):—sat-sa`ī, sat-saiyā, s.f. lit.'Seven hundred'; name of a poetical work composed in the Braj dialect by BihārīLāl, an inhabitant of Gwāliyār, containing 700 dohāsor distichs of exquisite beauty and finish:—sat-konā, adj. & s.m.
