तैली tailī, and H. तेली telī[Prk. तेिल्लओ; S. तैिलकः], adj. & s.m. Relating or belonging to oil, oily, etc.;—a caste whose business it is to make or to sell oil; a member of that caste; an oil manufacturer, oil-grinder, oilman;—an unclean or dirty fellow:—telī-tambolī, s.m. People of low caste:—telī-rājā, s.m. A class of mendicants who beg for oil which they apply to their heads and clothes;—a dirty vagabond:—taili-sālā, s.f. An oil-mill:—telī-kābail, s.m. An oilman's ox; (fig.) a hard-working wretch.
