उगना ugnā[S. उद्+गमनीयं], v.n. To grow, springup, shoot, sprout, germinate; to be produced, to rise, bud; to begin, set in; to dawn:—ugte-hījal-jānā, To be withered or blasted at its birth, to be nipped in the bud.
