बारा bārā, adj. Twelve (=bārah, q.v.):—bārā-jorī, s.f. lit. 'Twelve-fold force (zor)'; force, violence, compulsion;—adv. By force;—bārā-jorīkarnā, To use force, bear strongly upon, to press, constrain, compel:—bārā-darīand bārā-singhā, see s.v. bārah:—bārā-khaṛī, s.f. (in Gram.), The aggregate of the twelve short vowels of the Nāgarīalphabet in combination with consonants (e.g. ka, kā, ki, kī, etc.); a kind of song, every line of which begins with a consonant.
