यहां yahāṅ, (dialec.) य्हां yhāṅ[(dialec.) ihāṅ; Ap. Prk. एहहं; S. ईदृशे;—or yah+ān= nāṅ= thān= Prk. थाणेor थािण=S. ःथाने, loc. of ःथान], adv. In this place, here, hither; hereabout (yahāṅis often incorrectly used as a postpn. in the sense of hāṅ(=S. sthāne), 'at the abode' (of, -ke, or -mere, etc.), at; Fr. chez; Lat. apud):—yahāṅ-par, adv. Here:—yahāṅ-takor talak, or yahāṅ-lag, or yahāṅ-loor loṅ, adv. As far as this, to this place, thus far;—to this degree or pitch; to such an extent, so much so (that), insomuch (that);—until;—up to this time, hitherto:—yahāṅ-se, adv.
