मन्थ granth, s.m. A literary production, treatise, book or composition (in prose or verse); a code; a section;—the book or sacred scriptures of the Sikhs (short moral poems by Nānak Shāh and others, in Panjābīand Hindī):—granthālay (˚tha+āl˚), s.m. 'Bookrepository,' a library (syn. kutub-ḵẖāna):—granth-kār, or granth-karttā, s.m. A bookmaker, author, writer;—the founder of a religious system or sect.
