گاي

गायor गाए gā`e, or गाई gā`ī[Prk. गाई; S. गािवका; cf. gā`o], s.f. A cow (as an epithet it is used in the sense of a 'poor, meek, gentle, quiet, or tractable person'):—gā`e-roṅ, s.m. Gall-stone, biliary concretion found in the gallbladder of a cow or bullock:—gā`e-kāgosht, s.m. Cow's flesh, beef:—gā`e-goṭh, s.m. Cowhouse, cow-shed:—gā`e-māṅs, s.m.=gā`e-kāgosht.
