डेवढ़ा ḍe`oṛhā, ड्योढ़ा ḍyoṛhā, डेउढ़ा ḍe`uṛhā[fr. िदवड्ढओ=Prk. अड्ढदइअओ ु =S. अधर् +िƮतीय+कः], s.m. Reckoning by ḍeṛh; half as much again; interest in kind at fifty per cent. (esp. on grain, a maund and a half of seed being repaid for a maund taken):—ḍe`oṛhākarnā, v.t. To make one and a half times as much or as great;—to balance account books, etc., close an account:—ḥisāb ḍe`oṛhā, s.m. An old system of account during native rule, under which interest was not decreed when it had exceeded fifty per cent. of the principal.
