ڈلیا

डिलया ḍaliyā[dim. of ḍāl; and ḍalā;—iyā= Prk. इआ=S. इका], s.f. 1˚=ḍālī, 'branch,' q.v.; 2˚=ḍalī, q.v.;—3˚A small basket (see ḍalā, and ḍalwā):—ḍaliyā-jhār, s.m. 'Brushing or emptying out of the (sowing) baskets'; conclusion of the sowing season; the season of relaxation and rejoicing after the sowing.
