डब ḍab[S. दवर् ःor दृितः; cf. dabba; dabgar; dawāl], s.m. Leather (of which oil-pots, scales, spoons, etc. are made); a pouch or pocket;—the nape of the neck:—ḍab karnā, v.t. To pocket, to stow away;—ḍab-gar, s.m. One who makes leathern scales, etc., (=dab-gar), a worker in leather.
