छत ू ćhūt [ćhū(nā)+Prk. अƣी=S. आिप+ितः(आिƯ, āpi being the caus. augment], s.f. Touch of anything impure, contamination; defilement, impurity:—ćhūt honā, v.n. To be touched, be contaminated, be defiled, be polluted.
