چھننا

छनना ćhannā(see the trans. ćhānnā), v.n. To be strained, be percolated; to be sifted, be cleaned; to be shed; to be concentrated (upon, -par);—to be closely searched, be scrutinized;—to make or find a way through (-se) interstices, openings, or chinks (as the sun through the leaves of trees, etc.);—to be fought out (a quarrel):—ćhan-jānā, v.n.=ćhannā.
