چھتیس

छƣीस ćhattīs [Prk. छƣीसा; S. षिÙऽशत् ], adj. Thirty-six:—ćhattīs bhojan, s.m. Thirty-six dishes of food (=ćhattīs vyanjan); a variety of dishes:—ćhattīs-gun-nidhān, s.m. An epithet of a Brāhmaṇconsidered as possessing all the virtues possible to one of his order:—ćhattīs vyanjan, s.m. The thirty-six different kinds of food that are lawful to Brāhmaṇs.
