چڑ

चड़ ćaṛ[S. चट; or onomat.], s.m.(f.?), The sound made by a breaking branch, or in tearing cloth; sound of cracking or tearing:—ćaṛ-ćaṛ, ćaṛ-ā-ćaṛ, s.m.(f.?)=ćaṛ(with the addition of the idea of repetition, or continuity).
