چٹانا

चटाना ćaṭānā(caus. of ćāṭnā), v.t. To cause to taste; to cause to lick or lap; to put (a sword, etc.) to the grindstone, to sharpen, to whet (a sword, etc.); to give (one) a smack or taste of (a whip; or a douceur, or bribe, etc.);—s.m. The ceremony of feeding a child for the first time.
