चम्पा ćampā[Prk. चंपओ, चंपयो; S. चम्पकः], s.m. The tree Michelia champaca (bearing a fragrant yellow flower):—ćampā-barṇī, s.f. The colour of thećampāflower (=ćampā`ī, q.v.);—a name or an epithet of females:—ćampā-kalī, ćampā-kālī, s.f. A necklace composed of little ornaments in the form of the bud of the ćampāflower:—ćampā-kelā, s.m. (f. -ī), A species of plantain (small, scented, and very sweet).
