िचमटना ćimaṭnā[=ćipaṭnā, q.v.; ćimaṭ˚is prob. akin to Prk. िचम्म(इ) and S. िच], v.n. To adhere, stick, cling (to, -se); to be pasted, gummed, glued, etc.; to take in close embrace; to follow close at the heels (of), to dog, to persecute:—ćimaṭ-jānā(-seor meṅ), intens. of, &=ćimaṭnā:—ćimaṭ-rahnā(-se), To stick close (to), to cleave (to), etc.
