चमकाना ćamkānā(caus. of ćamaknā, q.v.), v.t. To cause to glitter, cause to beam or glow; to flash; to burnish, brighten, polish; to display, to make a show; to make famous; to cause to flourish or prosper, to extend, to carry to a great height of prosperity; to wave, brandish, flourish; to rouse, stir up, make lively or active; to provoke, to cause to start or shy, to startle:—ćamkā-denā, v.t.=ćamkānā.
