چكتا

चकƣा ćakattā, चकता ćaktā[S. चब+पǂऽकः], s.m. A round slice (as of a vegetable, etc.), a slice; round discoloured spot (on the body), a mark, scar, scratch or scrape (of the skin); a sod or turf:—ćakattābhar-lenā(meṅ), To bite so as to leave a mark; to mark, to scar:—ćakattā(or ćaktā) denā(-ko), To scar, to mark:—ćakattā ḍālnā(-meṅ) = ćakattābharlenā:—ćaktālenā= ćaktādenā, q.v.
