چرچٹا

िचरिचटा ćirćiṭā, िचरिचट्टा ćirćiṭṭa, s.m. A kind of grass (somewhat like young bājrā; it produces an ear like that of the kaṅgnī; and its grain, which is about the size of a barley-corn, is eaten by the poorerclasses);—the thorny shrub Lycium europœum (the fruit of which is eaten, and on the branches of which goats and camels browse);—also=ćiṭćiṭa, and ćirćirā, qq.v.
