पूप pūpa, vulg. pūp, s.m. A cake (=pū`ā, q.v.); bread:—pūpāshṭaka (˚pa+ash˚), s.f. The eighth day of the second half of the month Mārgśīr (Nov. Dec.) on which cakes of rice are offered to the manes:—pūpa-kār, pūpakar, s.m. A baker.
