पन pan; contrac. of pāṅć, or S. paṅća, 'five' (used in comp.):—pan-jīrī, s.f. A medicine composed of five ingredients (sugar, ghī, flour, cummin-seed, etc.), given to puerperal women; caudle:—pan-sūra, s.m. Five sūras or chapters of the Qor`ān (cf. pan-sūra):—pan-serā, s.m.=pan-serī, s.f. A weight of five ser or seers.
