परम param, vulg. parm, adj. Highest, first, most excellent, most distinguished, best, greatest, chief, primary, principal, superior, paramount, supreme; transcendent, perfect; exceeding, excessive, extreme, very great;—adv. Exceedingly, extremely, very much, in the highest degree, to a great degree, excellently:—paramarsh (parama+r̤ishi), s.m. 'Greatest sage,' a r̤ishior divine sage of a peculiar order or division:—paramābhūshaṇ(˚ma+ābh˚), s.m. An excellent ornament; splendid attire:—paramātmā, vulg. parmātmā(˚ma+āt˚), s.m. The Supreme Spirit, soul of the universe;—paramātmā-purush, s.m. Idem:—paramādvait (˚ma+ad˚), s.m.
