ूजा prajā, vulg. परजा parjā, s.f. Progeny, offspring, brood, children, posterity, descendants, race, family; creature, created being; a subject, dependent, tenant, renter; people, subjects:—prajā-pālak, s.m. 'Protector of created beings,' an epithet of Kr̤ishṇa; protector of subjects, a king, sovereign:—prajā-pālan, s.m. The protection of subjects or dependants:—prajā-pati, s.m. 'Lord of creatures,' an epithet of the deity, Brahmā; an epithet of a number of other divine personages;—`lord of the people,' a king, sovereign, prince; a daughter's husband, son-inlaw; creator, procreator, father:—prajā-poshan, s.m.
