ूत्यक pratyak, adj. (f. pratīćī). Turned (towards), directed (towards), proceeding (to); being behind, coming from behind; subsequent, following (in time or place); western, westerly, west; uniform (=pratyaṅć):—pratyak-parṇī, pratyak-pushpī, s.f. A species of plant, Achyranthes aspera:—pratyak-śreṇī, s.f. Name of various plants, Anthericum Tuberosum; Croton polyandrum, or C. Tiglium; Salvinia cucullata (com. called dantī).
