پتلا

पुतला putlā[S. पुƣलकः], s.m. Puppet, large doll (see putlī), small statue, idol, image, effigy:—putlā-bidhān, s.m. Burning in effigy; the vicarious cremation of an effigy of one who has died at a distance:—putlābanā-ke jalānā, v.n. To burn in effigy;—s.m. Burning in effigy, etc.=putlā-bidhān.
