waṣīyat (A. وصیة , v.n. of the measure فَعِیلةَ , fr. وَصَی ; see waṣī), s.f. A precept, mandate, injunction, charge, command;—a last will or testament syn. andarz);—a legacy, bequest:—waṣīyat-ě-taḥrīrī, s.f. A written will:—waṣīyatě-zabānī, s.f. A nuncupative will:—waṣīyat karnā, v.t. To command by will, to charge;—to leave by will, to devise, bequeath:—waṣīyatmeṅdenā(-ko), To leave by will, or as a legacy or bequest, to bequeath:—waṣīyat-nāma, s.m. Last will or testament:—bilā-waṣīyat, adj. Without a will, intestate.
