وثاق

wis̤āq (v.n. fr. وثق 'to confide (in),' etc.), s.m. A ligature, a vinculum, a tie, fastening;—(inf. n. of واثق 'to enter into a compact (with),' etc., iii of وثق ), s.m. Entering into a compact or confederacy (with); stipulating; pledging (one's) faith.
