هامی

हामी hāmī(said to be corr. fr. A. ḥāmī, q.v.; but prob. akin to hāṅ, q.v.), s.f. Confirmation, ratification (by a third person); assurance, guarantee; assent:—hāmībharnā(-kī), To afford confirmation (of), to confirm; to pledge oneself (to the fulfilment of); to give assurance (of); to promise, to assent.
