نعوذ

naūz̤u (1st pers. pl. of aor. of عَاذَ (rt. عوذ ), We seek protection or preservation (by), we seek or take refuge (in);—also used as a contrac. of na’uz̤u bi`llāh (i), We seek protection or preservation by God (from such-and-such a thing or person); may God protect or preserve us; God forbid.
