naṣṣ(inf. n. of نصّ 'to elevate; to make manifest,' etc.), s.m. Showing, manifesting, exhibiting, demonstrating, setting forth;—demonstration, proof;—a text (of the Qor`ān), an explicit and decisive dictum (of law, or scripture).
