िनसा nisā= H نس िनस nis, or िनिस nisi[Prk. िनसा, िनिस; S. िनशा], s.f. Night (see niśā):—nis-āgam, adv. (dialec.) On night coming on:—nis-bāsar, or nisi-bāsar, adv. Day and night; without intermission; continually:—nis-ćar, or nisā-ćar, adj. & s.m. (f. -ī), Going or prowling about by night;—an animal that prowls about and feeds by night; a nightprowler; a demon, goblin; a robber, thief:—nis-ćarā`ī(˚ā`ī= S. tā+ikā), s.f. Going or prowling about by night:—nis-ćarā`īkarnā, To prowl at night:—nis-ćarī, s.f. A female fiend; a woman who keeps an assignation, a harlot:—nis-din, or nisi-din, adv. = nis-bāsar, q.v.:—nisā-kar, s.m. 'Night-maker,' the moon:—nisā-nāth, nisā-pati, or nis-pati, s.m.
