میٹنا

मेटना meṭnā[meṭ˚= Prk. िमट्ट(इ), or िमट्टे(इ), fr. िमट्ट, for िमट्ठ=S. मृ ƴ, p.p.p. of rt. मृ ज् ], v.t. To rub out, wipe out, blot out, efface, erase; to annihilate; to do away with, to annul, cancel; to atone for, to expiate;—to thwart, etc. (see the neut. v. miṭnā).
