मही mahī, or मिह mahi, s.f. The earth, world; earth, soil, ground; land, landed property;—(in Geom.) the base of a triangle, or other plane figure;—a species of Sanskrit metre (four times ¯);—name of a river (rising in the province of Malwa and, after a westerly course of 280 miles, falling into the gulf of Cambay):—mahī-bhār, or mahi-bhār, s.m.
