مٹانا

िमटाना miṭānā[caus. of miṭnā; and=miṭ˚+ā= āw= Prk. आवor आवे=S. आिप(caus. augment)+nā= Prk. अणअं=S. अनीयं ], v.t. To efface, rub or blot out, wipe out, obliterate, erase; to abrogate, abolish, cancel; to appease, satisfy (hunger, etc.; cf. meṭnā):—miṭā-denā, v.t. intens. of and=miṭānā.
