منصف

munṣif (act. part. of انْصف 'to divide, to take half; to adjust equitably,' etc., iv of نصف 'to reach to the middle,' etc.), adj. & s.m. Equitable, just, fair;—a just judge; an arbitrator; (in India) a subordinate judge:—munṣif-mizāj, adj. Just-minded, just in temperament; discreet; (a person) of propriety or taste.
