منج

मुञ्जor मुंज munja, vulg. munj, s.m. A sort of rush or grass, Saccharum munja (from the fibres of which a string is prepared, of which the Brāhmaṇical girdle is, or should be, formed; it is also used in basket-work, etc.); the Brāhmaṇical girdle, or sacred cord of a Brāhmaṇ;—an arrow.
