munāfiq (act. part. of نافق 'to act hypocritically,' etc., iii of نفق 'to be saleable,' etc.), adj. & s.m. Hypocritical; atheistic; impious;—a hypocrite, dissembler; an infidel; an atheist;—an enemy.
