معاد

ma’ād (n. of place fr. عاد (for عود ) 'to return,' etc.), s.f. A place to which a person or thing returns; a place, state, or result, to which a person or thing eventually comes; destination, ultimate state or condition;—the ultimate state of existence, the world to come (syn. āḵẖirat);—the place to which one comes on the day of resurrection; the resurrection; Paradise.
