mushabbah (pass. part. of شبّہ 'to make like, or to resemble; to assimilate (one thing to another),' ii of شبہ not in use), part. adj. Likened (to); assimilated (to); compared (to);—like, resembling;—s.m. A simile:—mushabbahbih (i), That whereunto a thing is likened, or from which a simile is drawn.
